The Role - Sous Chef I am recruiting for a Sous Chef, and you will work closely with the Head Chef to manage day-to-day operations, oversee prep and service, control ordering and stock, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards. You'll help train junior chefs, manage sections during high-volume service and step up to run the kitchen when required. Strong financial awareness around labour, wastage and cost control is essential. Proven experience as a Sous Chef for 1 year is required for this role. $90K Super with Full-time hours Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will bring the following: Experience in premium steak or grill-focused kitchens is highly regarded Solid understanding of dry-ageing and meat cookery Strong leadership and communication skills Calm under pressure during high-volume service Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance The Role - Chef de Partie There is also an opportunity for a CDP to join the team. You must have 3 years of experience in a similar role within an elevated dining venue. You'll be responsible for managing your section from prep through to service, maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety at all times. During peak service, you'll work closely with the Sous and Head Chef to ensure smooth execution and strong communication across the line.
